My name is Gail and I live in Australia. I am married with two young children, a boy (born in 1998) and a girl (born in 2002).

My love of sewing began as a child. I vividly remember sewing clothes for my Barbie dolls - wrap skirts and halter tops were favourites! This continued up until high school, where Home Economics included a sewing class. In Year 8 I remember proudly making and wearing my first pair of very ugly pants....well, they were pretty cool at the time! I continued to make various pieces of clothing for myself, and other little knick knacks too.

Just after my daughter was born, I bought my first embroidery machine. This opened up a whole new exciting world for me, and rejuventated my love for sewing once again, something that I didn't find too much time for after having my first child. I started off embroidering items for friends and family, and then sold on Ebay. My natural curiosity led me to digitising and I haven't looked back.
