A cute "little" applique alphabet!

Great for baby items, children's t-shirts, and anything else that requires a smaller than normal applique font.

Upper case letters only, plus numbers 0-9 and apostrophe, exclamation mark, fullstop and hyphen (not shown).

SIX (6) sizes included (approx.) -

1 1/2 inch height (38mm);

1 1/2 inch height (38mm) NARROW;

1 3/4 inch height (44mm);

1 3/4 inch height (44mm) NARROW;

2 inch height (50mm)

2 inch height (50mm) NARROW

The narrow versions are a little more than 10% narrower than the regular set - you will be surprised what a difference that can make when you are trying to fit letters in small spaces!

Because of the small nature of the letters, the 38mm (1.5 inch) and 44mm (1 3/4 inch) sizes have filled stitches where the holes normally are on the letters A, B, D, O, P, Q and R, and the numbers 0, 4, 6, 8 and 9. This is because these sections are simply too small to cut.

However, on the 50mm sizes, I have also included a cut-out version, and also a filled version with the edge-stitching around it (ie. use the same colour thread for the filled stitch as the garment you are appliqueing on and it will look like the hole has been cut!). You can choose whichever version you would like to use, depending on how lazy you are feeling at the time! The regular filled hole (as in the "B" on the bib picture below) is of course the easiest option.

Small appliques can be fiddly, but a small pair of sharp scissors to get a close cut in the tight corners, and a little bit of patience and perseverance, are the best tools for the job and will ensure great results!
