Celebrate Christmas with this sweet patchwork bauble ornament!!
2 sizes included (approximate) -
4 inch height (fits 4 x 4 hoop)
5 inch height (fits 5 x 7 hoop)
The double chevron edge stitch replicates the vintage-style look of traditional hand embroidery.
Add a bow, and use a metallic thread for the hook for an extra special touch!
I have included baubles with 2008 for this year and 2009 for next year, as well as plain baubles without the year in both sizes.
BONUS DESIGNS INCLUDED -
Plain baubles (one piece applique) in both 4 inch and 5 inch sizes
plus
A set of three plain baubles in a row sized to fit the 5 x 7 hoop with some variations
(these would be perfect on a festive t-shirt for a child or adult)
**Note - it is important to use the same final thread colour for all steps of the applique process (especially with the double chevron edge stitch) for best results.
