This is a very simple and quick bookmark made in the 4x4 hoop, and a great way of using up those small scraps of fabric.

Two sizes are included - a small version (approximately 80mm wide or 3 1/8") and a larger size which fills the 4x4 hoop (so almost 4").
The larger size would be great for kids and larger books, and also for fussy cutting patterned fabrics such as the owl bookmark shown in the photo.

I have used pinking shears to trim the bookmark. This can be left "as is", or scruffed up for a shabbier look.
